Job Summary

Albany Medical Center is seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse III to join our Adult Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our laboratory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement physician orders, administer medications, and perform treatments and procedures as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations.
  • Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests to identify and assess patients' conditions.
  • Assess and evaluate patient needs for, and responses to, care rendered.
  • Apply sound nursing judgment in patient care management decisions.
  • Collaborate with the nursing team to create a Plan of Care for all patients.
  • Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong foundation in nursing principles and practices, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills. You will also need to be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
