About the Position

This position is located within the Office of the Chief of Staff of the Army, supporting the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing critical intelligence support to the Army's strategic operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct highly specialized interrogation and exploitation operations to obtain intelligence of strategic value.
  • Develop and implement plans and strategies to support tactical mission requirements, working closely with various intelligence agencies and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with peers and staff to ensure effective execution of detention, interrogation, and exploitation operations.
  • Assess the reliability of human intelligence sources and provide recommendations for data contributions.
  • Conduct research, analysis, and interpretation of intelligence data to support strategic decision-making.
Requirements
  • Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
  • Two-year trial period may be required.
  • Must be willing to undergo and successfully complete a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination with No Deception Indicated (NDI) on a pre-appointment and periodic basis.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret (TS) security clearance based on a T5 investigation/Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) with eligibility for sensitive compartmented information (SCI).
  • Requires extensive temporary duty (TDY) travel 30% of the time, both in the Continental U.S. (CONUS) and outside the Continental U.S. (OCONUS), on very short notice.
  • Subject to short notice recall.
  • This is an Emergency-Essential (E-E) position subject to deployment.
Qualifications
  • Must have at least one year of experience performing interrogation techniques to obtain intelligence of strategic value and assisting in the development of plans/strategies in support of tactical mission requirements.
  • Progressively responsible experience in intelligence-related research, analysis, collections, and operations, including intelligence analysis and/or production, intelligence collection and/or operations, counterintelligence, or threat support directly related to the position.
