Job Summary:

The Quality Assurance Specialist will be responsible for monitoring the molding process to ensure conformance to all requirements. This position requires the ability to lift containers weighing up to 40 pounds. The associate must be able to read, understand and follow written work instructions. This associate must have some experience in inspection and possess advanced knowledge of Quality requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify that parts are properly stored in designated containers.
  • Sort rework parts as needed and ensure they meet quality standards.
  • Release approved parts and transfer them to the designated storage area.
  • Complete temporary work instructions for reworked parts and ensure documentation is processed according to instructions.
  • Participate in 5-S activities to maintain a clean and organized molding area.
  • Transfer molded parts from the molding area to the work-in-process storage area as needed.
  • Follow all general and job-specific safety and operating requirements established by NESCO Inc.
  • Provide suggestions for improvements in the warehouse and other work areas.
  • Scan nonconforming parts to the nonconforming log in the c-core system and log parts on the cage log.
