Physical Therapist

CNSO is seeking a Part-Time Physical Therapist to join our team in Jersey City. As a key member of our physical therapy department, you will work closely with our current DPT staff to cover our growing patient base in various offices.
The ideal candidate will help expand our physical therapy department, communicate with other CNSO physical therapists at different office locations for best practices and clinical care coverage, while continuing to focus on growth.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing physical therapy to orthopedic patients with a focus on spine care, aiming to avoid surgery and expedite recovery in the postoperative period.
- Collaborating with neurosurgeons, orthopedic spine surgeons, pain management doctors, and physiatrists in the Jersey City office.
- Evaluating patients to develop, implement, and modify treatment plans in accordance with their evolving needs, and communicating any concerning observations to the treating physician.
- Identifying the need to refer and delegating referrals for discipline-specific treatment services for assigned patients.
- Designing functional treatment programs for effective return to desired lifestyle activities.
- Performing other professional duties associated with patient care, development of discipline-specific therapy services, and program delivery.
- Expanding the physical therapy patient base and referral base.

- Maintaining efficiency and maximizing patient scheduling without reducing patient care.
- Ensuring a clean and orderly gym floor to provide a professional atmosphere appreciated by patients.
- Knowledge of eClinicalWorks is a plus.
Education & Experience:
- Current state licensure as a Physical Therapist is required.
- Certified BLS is required.
Gym hours are Monday – Friday, typically 8am – 5pm, with an open schedule allowing for patient and therapist flexibility.
Salary is commensurate with experience.
