We are actively seeking a skilled and driven Civil Project Manager – Transportation Mega Projects with a proven history of securing projects. This Senior Project Manager role offers flexibility in location across our Texas offices.

This position presents an exciting chance to broaden our service offerings throughout the Southwest Region, fostering growth and improving our project success rate. Responsibilities include overseeing intricate engineering design tasks alongside marketing, business development, and client engagement. Additional duties encompass managing project design and delivery efficiently while addressing design challenges and troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee scope development, management, and project performance to achieve objectives while adhering to financial and technical standards. Cultivate a comprehensive understanding of client goals. Provide leadership, mentorship, and comprehensive management of projects. Strategize for new business development with both new and existing clients. Attract and retain clients, ensuring satisfaction and fostering strong market relationships. Prepare and evaluate cost proposals. Participate in or lead client interviews. Conduct contract negotiations. Prepare and present technical presentations. Plan, schedule, and coordinate staffing requirements for projects, while collaborating with other offices on work-sharing opportunities. Exhibit creativity, foresight, and sound engineering judgment while effectively managing multiple projects and tasks. Act as the primary contact for key client and contract management. Recruit, develop, and retain talented staff.

Qualifications:

B.S. or M.S. in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited program. Licensed Professional Engineer in Texas. 12+ years of progressive experience in transportation and roadway projects. 5+ years of experience in managing engineering and support teams. Demonstrated experience working with state and local governments, contractors, transportation agencies, and professional organizations. Strong background with TxDOT projects and programs is essential. Proficiency in MicroStation and InRoads software. Solid understanding of project management principles. Ability to manage and contribute to the production of design deliverables.
