Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Surgical Technologist to join our team at St. Joseph Health. As a key member of the operating room team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient execution of surgical procedures.

Your responsibilities will include preparing the operating room for assigned surgical procedures, navigating the nuances of surgical procedures and surgeons, and adapting to the needs of emergency situations. You will also be responsible for providing clean-up and turnover of the operating room to prepare for the next patient.

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess a high school diploma or equivalent, as well as 1+ years of experience in a surgical tech role. You must also be certified as a Surgical Technologist (CST) or Certified Surgical First Assistant (CST/CSFA) by September 1, 2010. Additionally, you will need to hold current American Heart Association BLS CPR certification.
