Job Description

Job Title: Advanced Compound Formulation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Compound Engineer to join our Technical Center team. As an Advanced Compound Formulation Specialist, you will be responsible for developing new tire compounds and maintaining existing ones to meet customer requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A BS, MS, or PhD degree in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry
  • Knowledge of tire design and/or standards
  • Experience in OEM compound development with 5-15 years of experience
Salary and Benefits

The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 based on industry standards and location.

About the Role

You will work closely with development engineers, plant specialists, and process engineers to ensure that our tire compounds meet customer expectations.

As an Advanced Compound Formulation Specialist, you will also be responsible for designing laboratory studies, evaluating new compound technologies, and communicating directly with other company R&D centers.
