Job Summary
This role involves advanced design, integration, implementation, and modification of diverse user information systems within a complex environment. Responsibilities include coordinating installation, testing, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of these systems. The position requires providing both functional and technical expertise to support user systems, including labs and IT office software and hardware. Interaction with system staff and departmental users is essential, providing guidance and support as needed.

Key Responsibilities
1. Needs Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis and planning for the installation of new or modified hardware/software.
2. System Requirements: Develop comprehensive functional and technical IT system specifications.
3. Technical Support: Provide ongoing technical support, manage accounts, and ensure security and recoverability of systems.
4. Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor and report on system performance metrics.
5. Server Support: Offer support for internal departmental servers.
6. Inventory Management: Maintain accurate hardware and software inventories and update licensing policies.
7. Technical Presentations: Deliver technical presentations to peers and departmental administrators.
8. Project Leadership: May lead technical project teams and provide mentorship to junior staff.
9. Additional Duties: Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications
Educational Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
Other Required Qualifications: Valid Georgia Driver's License and Georgia Fourth Class Boiler License. Must be able to handle hazardous materials and work in various physical conditions.
Experience: Four to six years of relevant experience is required.

Preferred Qualifications
Citrix certifications and technical leadership skills are highly desirable.

Skills
Advanced knowledge of IT systems design, installation, and maintenance is essential. Expertise in various applications and platforms is required.
