Job Summary: We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Town Clerk. As a key member of our office, you will provide administrative support to our staff and ensure the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide clerical support to the Town Clerk, including answering phones, responding to emails, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Assist with the preparation of documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Operate office equipment, including cash registers, photocopiers, and fax machines.
  • Learn new programs and software to support the office's needs.
  • Provide excellent customer service to the public, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a courteous and professional manner.
  • Manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Previous experience in an administrative role, preferably in a municipal or government setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Basic computer skills and knowledge of office software.

Compensation: $43,000 per year or $23.63 per hour.
