Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at RadNet Ventura (Rolling Oaks Radiology). As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for performing high-quality MRI exams on incoming patients, ensuring patient safety, and providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities- Perform high-quality MRI exams on incoming patients, adhering to company policies and established protocols.
- Assure patient safety by administering contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
- Understand and use advanced imaging techniques, including TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view, and other adjustments to produce high-quality images.
- Guide patients through the exam process, kindly answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
- Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients, demonstrating competency in safeguarding patient property and Patient Health Information.
- Safeguard on-site medications in accordance with company policies, procedures, and legal requirements.
- Demonstrate respect for company property, including cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
- Exhibit professional behavior toward patients and coworkers, demonstrating respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities.
- Establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships with patients, families, and the public in a clinical setting.
- ARRT(R)(MR) or ARMRIT certification.
- State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
- CPR/BLS certification.
- At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.
