Position Overview:In the role of Principal DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for the design and development of the build, release, and deployment toolchain for DevOps, while also offering support for production operations. Exceptional leadership abilities, experience in infrastructure management, and a commitment to reliability and security are crucial. Strong communication and collaboration skills are essential.
- Design and develop the DevOps build, release, and deployment toolchain
- Establish, manage, and sustain development, staging, and production environments
- Ensure a consistent release cadence across various environments
- Architect solutions that are cloud-native
- Implement infrastructure for monitoring
- Support operations in production
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline with over 10 years of experience
- Proven ability to design development toolchains and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with Linux systems and their internals
- Proficiency in software automation using Python, Ruby, Java, or Golang
- Familiarity with AWS Cloud infrastructure
- Experience with container technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker
- Expertise in source control, CI/CD pipelines, and monitoring tools
- Understanding of databases and cloud-based technologies
- Experience with messaging pub/sub systems and secrets management
- US Citizenship is required
- Experience with Linux package management tools
- Exposure to security technologies
- Knowledge of distributed systems technologies
- Familiarity with NoSQL technologies
