Janitorial Porter

Join The Budd Group as a Janitorial Day Porter and contribute to maintaining a clean and safe environment for our clients.

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Day Porter to join our team. As a Janitorial Day Porter, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our office building, including offices, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and other areas.

• Clean offices, hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and other areas
• Replenish paper and soap products in bathrooms, clean mirrors, walls, showers, sinks, metal work, and toilets
• Empty wastebaskets, and empty and clean ashtrays. Transport trash and waste to disposal area
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors. Clean rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies. Spot clean walls, ceilings, vents, and woodwork
• Operate various types of equipment, including wet vacuums, hand trucks, vacuum cleaners, etc.
• Assist in the completion of the workload in the absence of other service workers
• Report any malfunctions/maintenance problems to the supervisor. Discuss work problems and/or schedule problems with supervisor and/or management

• No prior experience or training is required

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with arms and hands. The employee is required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is occasionally required to talk or hear. The employee must lift/move up to 35 pounds.
