Position Overview
SSTAR is seeking dedicated individuals for the role of Housekeeper, offering 30 hours per week at a competitive rate of $16.70 per hour. The working hours are from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities
The housekeeping team will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene across all units and locations. Duties include:
  • Disposing of waste materials
  • Sweeping, vacuuming, and mopping floors
  • Cleaning restrooms, kitchens, and communal areas
  • Dusting and sanitizing surfaces, adhering to biohazard protocols when necessary
  • Restocking supplies such as bleach, toilet paper, paper towels, and soap
  • Executing specific cleaning tasks as per the established cleaning schedule
  • Managing inventory of cleaning agents and supplies
  • Ensuring cleaning carts are organized and well-maintained
  • Identifying and addressing safety hazards
  • Performing spot cleaning of walls as required
  • Filling in for absent housekeeping staff during vacations or leaves
  • Other related duties as assigned

Qualifications
Applicants should possess:
  • Experience in cleaning or sanitation roles
  • Reliability and dependability
  • Physical capability to lift at least 30 pounds
  • Ability to perform tasks involving repetitive bending and hand movements
