Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Computed Tomography Technologist to join our team at WellStar Health Systems. As a key member of our radiology department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality imaging services to patients, working closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate computed tomography scanners to produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes
  • Position patients for optimal imaging, ensuring comfort and safety throughout the procedure
  • Adjust equipment settings to achieve optimal image quality and minimize radiation exposure
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including patient information, imaging results, and any relevant notes or comments
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
  • Current certification in computed tomography (CT) and radiography (X-ray)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in radiology, with preference given to those with CT experience
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
