Job Summary

As a Staffing Coordinator for Homecare Services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all referrals are received and handled accurately and efficiently. Your responsibilities will include scheduling caregivers, handling issues that arise, and performing various supervisory activities. You will also be responsible for interviewing, screening, and testing applicants, as well as scheduling and coordinating day-to-day activities of caregivers.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer telephone calls, take inquiries or messages using good telephone technique.

• Receive referrals and inquiries on the programs of this company.

• Interview, screen, and test all applicants.

• Schedule and coordinate day-to-day activities of caregivers.

• Assist with recruiting, associate hiring, orientations, in-services, disciplinary actions, etc.

• Perform payroll duties, including verifying time sheets, updating telephony records, and computer input for payroll processing.

• Maintain documentation of associate work records in HomeTrak and ensure current and complete personnel records for all homecare associates.

• Communicate continually with associates and clients to evaluate service.

• Respond promptly and courteously to all clients' calls.

• Perform on-call coordinator duties as needed.

• Serve as liaison between associates and Operations Manager.

• Assist with sales, marketing, and public relations efforts.

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent with two years of business experience.

• Basic office and computer skills and organizational abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal relations abilities and excellent telephone skills.

• Knowledge of common medical terminology.

• Able to work independently, demonstrating sound judgment.

• Read, write, speak, and understand English as needed for the job.

• Be available as required for on-call duty outside of normal office hours.
