About the RoleAs an Emergency Room Registered Nurse Navigator, you will be responsible for:
- Providing direct patient care and navigation services to patients and families in the emergency department
- Collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care transitions and effective communication
- Developing and implementing individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
- Providing education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness
- Participating in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes and satisfaction
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A graduate degree in nursing from an accredited program
- At least six months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse
- A current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License
- Current American Heart Association BLS Certification
