About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Ambulatory Surgery Unit team at Southcoast Health System. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care and work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and monitoring patient vital signs.
  • Develop and implement individualized patient care plans, taking into account the patient's medical history, current condition, and treatment goals.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in patient and family education, providing information and support to help patients and their families make informed decisions about their care.
  • Contribute to a positive and supportive work environment, promoting a culture of respect, empathy, and open communication.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent.
  • Current RN licensure in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Three (3) months experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal Influenza and the COVID-19 virus or to be exempt from the requirement for medical or personal reasons by signing a statement certifying you are choosing to be exempt from vaccination once hired.
