This role is not just about delivering medication; it’s about building significant relationships with patients, allowing you to provide care without the pressure of time constraints. You will operate independently, making informed decisions to achieve the best outcomes for your patients, while witnessing the impact of your work daily.
Key Responsibilities:
- Empower Patients: Act as a mentor to support your patients in achieving their health goals. Collaborate with Pharmacists and the Therapeutic Resource Center (TRC) to address all patient needs.
- Manage Patient Care: Travel to patient residences to autonomously administer IV infusion therapies, ensuring thorough response management and follow-up care.
- Central Communication Point: Utilize technology to keep all healthcare providers informed about patient progress. Document all patient interactions, including assessments, treatments, and responses.
- Continuous Improvement: Commit to enhancing your nursing skills daily. Leverage your expertise, confidence, and positive attitude to navigate challenging situations with the support of your team.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing in your state.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or
- Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) with at least 5 years of relevant experience; or
- Nursing Diploma with 8+ years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a specialty RN in critical care, acute, or home healthcare settings.
- Proficient IV insertion skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel within designated areas.
- Availability for Monday-Friday day shifts, with occasional evening or weekend visits as required.
- Flexibility to work alternate shifts on short notice and be available for on-call field visits as needed.
