We are seeking a highly skilled Journeyman Plumber to join our team at Stratton Mountain Resort in Stratton, VT. This is a full-time year-round benefit eligible position, paid at $30.00 - $35.00/hr, based on experience.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Installing and maintaining assigned plumbing systems at Stratton Mountain Resort
  • Working on various projects and preventive maintenance during the off-season
  • Locating and repairing water line leaks and removing clogs
  • Determining and ordering materials for each project
  • Performing pressure tests on air and water systems
  • Responding to and closing work orders in a timely fashion

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, applicants must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • Proof of completed apprenticeship
  • Vocational certification/Valid plumbing license
  • 3+ years of related experience
  • A general understanding and working knowledge of mechanical systems
  • Ability to read technical designs and blueprints
  • Proficiency using plumbing tools, materials, and equipment

Travel Requirements

A valid driver's license is required for this position, and a successful Motor Vehicle background check is necessary. The vehicle provided for travel on the mountain.
