Job Overview

CPIA, AAI is seeking a skilled Insurance Customer Service Representative to play a vital role in fostering strong customer relationships by addressing inquiries and concerns with speed and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional service to existing clients, encompassing policy updates, quotes, payments, and documentation.
  • Respond to customer calls and correspondence related to new or existing insurance policies and handle all claims efficiently.
  • Collaborate with new clients to understand their needs, research policy options, present solutions, finalize coverage, and negotiate with carriers when necessary.
  • Schedule appointments and/or client calls to review existing policies, explore other coverage needs, and bind renewals.
  • Resolve product or service issues by clarifying the customer's concern, identifying the cause of the issue, and explaining the best solution.
Required Qualifications:
  • A valid 440 or 220 license or completion of license required. Comparable work experience in the insurance field is preferred.
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of insurance products, rating procedures, coverages, and industry operations.
  • Show a strong customer focus, excellent phone manner, and strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Possess a sense of urgency, attention to detail, organization, multi-tasking, and follow-up skills.
Compensation and Benefits:

Estimated Salary: $62,500 per year based on location and experience.
