We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join our team at Capgemini. This is a full-time opportunity in Fort Mills, SC.

Job Summary

As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake, AWS services, Python, and DBT. You will collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and implement solutions, optimizing data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner and stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Design and develop data pipelines and ETL processes using Snowflake, AWS services, Python, and DBT.
  2. Collaborate with data scientists and analysts to understand data requirements and implement solutions.
  3. Optimize data workflows for performance, scalability, and reliability.
  4. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues in a timely manner.
  5. Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in data engineering.

Required Skills and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Snowflake data warehousing platform and proficiency in using Snowpark for data processing and analytics. Experience with DBT and AWS services, particularly Apache Airflow, is a plus. Additionally, proficiency in AWS Lambda for serverless computing and event-driven architecture is essential, as well as experience with AWS Glue for ETL processes and data integration. Strong programming skills in Python are required for developing data pipelines, data transformations, and automation tasks. Proven experience in data engineering roles with a focus on Snowflake, AWS services, Python, and DBT is necessary, along with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Salary Range

The estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on the location and industry standards.
