About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled MRI Technologist to join our team at Advocate Aurora Health. As an MRI Technologist, you will be responsible for operating magnetic resonance imaging equipment to perform diagnostic procedures, ensuring accurate and high-quality images for patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate MRI equipment to perform diagnostic procedures, including routine and advanced imaging techniques.
  • Position patients and select scanning factors to ensure optimal image quality.
  • Administer contrast media and prepare patients for exams, following strict safety protocols.
  • Process and label images, ensuring accurate patient information and image quality.
  • Maintain equipment and perform quality assurance tests to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and patient care.
Requirements
  • Registered Technologist (RT) registration issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) registration and certification issued by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 2 years.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA) within 6 months.
  • Advanced training in Radiologic Technology and excellent communication skills.
