About the Job:

Galt Joint Union High School District is seeking a Transportation Specialist - Student Safety to join our team. As a key member of our transportation department, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of students to and from school.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have a valid California Driver's License, a valid California DMV K-4 driving record printout, dated within 30 days, and must be able to pass a Physical Assessment Exam and DOJ and FBI fingerprint clearance. The Transportation Specialist - Student Safety will also be responsible for participating in random drug & alcohol screening and having current TB test.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Transport students safely and efficiently
  • Complete and submit all necessary documents as required
  • Participate in regular physical assessments and pre-employment screenings
