Job Summary

We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Pediatric Emergency Department team. As a Pediatric ED RN, you'll provide direct nursing care to patients and their families, implementing and monitoring patient care plans, administering medications and treatments, and assessing and coordinating patients' discharge plans.

Responsibilities
  • Provide direct nursing care to patients and their families, including administering medications and treatments, and assessing and coordinating patients' discharge plans.
  • Implement and monitor patient care plans, ensuring that patients receive high-quality care and meet their individual needs.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care, including communicating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and supportive work environment, promoting teamwork and open communication among colleagues.
Requirements
  • Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Proof of Basic Life Support (BLS) through American Heart Association (AHA) must be presented upon hire.
  • One year of current acute care RN experience in a hospital setting required for acute care settings.
  • Graduate from an accredited school of professional nursing. BSN preferred.
