Laundry Attendant

We are seeking a skilled Laundry Attendant to join our team at Northern Inyo Healthcare District.

This is a full-time opportunity to work in a fast-paced laundry environment, where you will be responsible for maintaining a sufficient supply of hygienically clean linen. You will work closely with the EVS/Laundry Manager, Assistant Manager, and other hospital staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently.

• Collecting, sorting, washing, drying, folding, and delivering of linen
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment on a daily basis
• Safely using and re-stocking chemicals used in the laundry

This role involves working in a general hospital setting and may expose you to blood, body fluids, or tissues as well as patients in varying stages of infectious states.

• A High School diploma or GED equivalence
• 1-year hospitality or institutional laundry experience preferred
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Flexibility and ability to work independently

The estimated salary for this position is around $40,000 per year, plus benefits. This includes health insurance, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
