Job Description

This position requires a highly skilled and experienced Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist III to perform a wide range of technical skills during various Interventional Cardiovascular, Non-ablation Electrophysiology or Interventional Radiology procedures. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, and possess strong technical skills.

Responsibilities

  • Technical Skills: Perform coronary diagnostic and interventional procedures, non-ablation electrophysiology interventional procedures, and peripheral diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Patient Care: Follows CDC isolation guidelines, appropriately uses PPE, and performs hand hygiene according to accepted standards of care.
  • Communication: Verifies orders and facilitates implementation, communicating with physician as needed.

Requirements

  • Educational Requirements: Associate degree OR Bachelor's in Cardiovascular Technology, Emergency Medical Services, Nursing, Radiologic Technology or Respiratory Therapy.
  • Certifications/Licenses: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and one of the following: Registered Nurse (RN), Radiologic Technologist [R.T.(R)], Respiratory Therapist (RRT), Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS), Registered Cardiovascular Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES), Nationally Registered Paramedic (NREMT-P).
