Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Analyst/Engineer I (II) - Lead to join our team at PJM Interconnection. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership and expertise in the support of our Energy Management System (EMS) applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical leadership and expertise in the support of EMS applications, including Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA), Transmission Network Application (TNA), and Information Model Management (IMM).
  • Collaborate with ITS and Operations teams to identify dependencies, plan work, and execute planned work.
  • Drive resolution of production and potential production issues, working with ITS and Operations teams to gather and analyze data, engage with vendors for support, and facilitate resolution.
  • Identify risks and document and receive approval for risk acceptance as necessary.
  • Work with Enterprise Architecture to review projects and technology as necessary.
  • Support project and support teams by mapping business unit requirements to effective products and services provided to business clients.
  • Lead a team to ensure business and ITS goals and objectives are met on schedule.
Requirements
  • BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 5 years of work experience.
  • Ability to produce high-quality work products with attention to detail.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in a team environment.
  • Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (MS-Word, MS-Excel, and MS-PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications
  • MBA degree.
  • Experience with PJM operations, markets, and planning functions.
  • Experience supporting any of PJM Committees.
  • Experience creating complex conceptual, architectural, and data flow diagrams.
  • Experience using JIRA and Confluence.
