Position: ITS Engineer

Overview
Drive Engineering Corp. is actively looking for a dedicated ITS Engineer with 5-10 years of expertise in various tasks related to Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) design, planning, and technical documentation. The successful candidate will engage in plan formulation, evaluations, design computations, field assessments, technical documentation, and construction services concerning diverse elements of ITS and Systems Engineering.

Employment Type
Full-time (40 hours/week); includes PTO and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil or Electrical Engineering

• EIT certification with the potential to secure a PE license within two years

• Coursework relevant to ITS, electrical systems, and/or communication network design

• Strong time management and communication abilities

• Knowledge of PANYNJ/PennDOT standards, MUTCD, and AASHTO guidelines

• General experience with Mid-Atlantic DOTs and/or Tolling Agencies

• Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Microstation is essential

• Willingness to travel for project meetings and field assessments (Mid-Atlantic Region)

We possess extensive planning, design, review, and construction inspection experience in large-scale ITS and Traffic Signal implementations.
