Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Recreation Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will have a passion for delivering high-quality recreational programs and activities that engage and enrich the lives of our residents.
Responsibilities
- Organize and implement recreational activities for residents, including outings, art classes, music sessions, dance programs, trivia games, exercise classes, movie nights, and literary discussions.
- Develop and deliver engaging programs that cater to diverse interests and abilities.
- Collaborate with community agencies and resources to provide innovative and relevant services.
- Manage and maintain program materials, supplies, and equipment.
- Ensure seamless communication with residents, staff, and stakeholders.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Recreation, Therapeutic Recreation, or related field (Associate's degree and/or 2 years experience in senior care or recreation coordination may be considered).
- Proven experience in designing and implementing recreational programs for seniors.
- Strong knowledge of recreation theory and practice, including activity planning, leadership, and group facilitation.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
