Industrial Electrician & Maintenance Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Industrial Electrician & Maintenance Specialist to join our team in the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and improving electrical systems with a focus on PLC knowledge.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance of electrical systems and equipment to ensure continuous production operations.
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment, including PLCs, to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures to ensure compliance with codes.
  • Collaborate with the operations team to identify and implement improvements to production processes and equipment.
  • Develop and implement maintenance procedures and systems.
  • Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems and equipment to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
  • Recommend modifications to equipment or systems to improve safety, efficiency, or reliability.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Electrician/Maintenance Tech in the manufacturing industry.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience with PLCs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical equipment and systems.
  • Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and other technical diagrams.
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, installation, and repair.
  • Familiarity with electrical codes and safety regulations.
