- Medication Dispensing: Ensure precise dispensing of medications according to prescription directives, prioritizing patient safety and compliance with legal stipulations.
- Clinical Assistance: Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals to deliver clinical support, including drug information, therapeutic interventions, and monitoring for potential adverse drug reactions.
- Order Review: Scrutinize and confirm medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and alignment with formulary guidelines.
- Quality Control: Engage in routine quality control activities to uphold high standards of pharmacy services and regulatory compliance.
- Patient Counseling: Educate patients on medication usage, possible side effects, and address any related questions to ensure comprehensive understanding and adherence.
- Emergency Preparedness: Participate actively in emergency response protocols, providing timely and accurate medication support during critical incidents.
- Inventory Oversight: Oversee and manage pharmacy inventory, ensuring sufficient stock levels while minimizing waste.
- Collaborative Care: Work alongside other healthcare professionals to enhance patient outcomes and promote a multidisciplinary approach to care.

Minimum Educational Requirements
- PharmD degree from an accredited pharmacy institution.
- Prior experience in a hospital or clinical pharmacy environment is desirable.
- Must be licensed to practice pharmacy in the State of North Carolina.
- Strong pharmaceutical knowledge and competencies
