About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse First Assist RNFA to join our team at Parham Doctors' Hospital. As a key member of our Surgical Services department, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our surgeons in the operating room.

Responsibilities
  • Utilize aseptic technique to create and maintain a sterile field, ensuring a safe environment for patients and staff.
  • Plan and provide equipment and supplies based on patient and physician needs, promoting cost containment while delivering quality care.
  • Assist surgeons as needed, demonstrating competency in perioperative nursing practice related to preoperative and postoperative care.
  • Promote a culture of safety and quality, participating in on-call assignments and demonstrating flexibility to cover staffing needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care, from admission to discharge.
Requirements
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification.
  • Certified Registered Nurse First Assistant (CRNFA) certification preferred.
  • Registered Nurse licensure.
