Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team in Hadley, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Occupational Therapist to provide quality occupational therapy services to inpatients on our West 5 unit. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating, planning, and delivering occupational therapy services, as well as assisting in the planning of weekend activities.

Responsibilities:
  • Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited school
  • Licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • CPI training within 90 days from hire, as well as ongoing re-training as required
  • Occupational therapy experience in a mental health setting, including the ability to facilitate groups
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in occupational therapy, with experience working in a mental health setting. They will be able to demonstrate effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals.
