Key Responsibilities
  1. Assessment and Treatment Planning: Conduct thorough assessments of clients' nutritional needs and develop personalized treatment plans to address their unique health challenges.
  2. Crisis Intervention: Respond promptly and effectively to crises that may arise during therapy sessions or in the community, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients.
  3. Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and any other required documentation.
  4. Collaboration: Work closely with other mental health professionals to coordinate care and provide a holistic approach to treatment.
  5. Education and Support: Educate clients about healthy eating habits, coping mechanisms, and strategies for maintaining mental well-being, offering support and encouragement throughout the treatment process.
Requirements
  1. Education: A Bachelor of Science in Nutrition or a related field.
  2. Licensing: Must be a licensed registered dietitian or nutritionist in Arizona.
  3. Experience: Previous experience in mental health counseling, especially in an intensive outpatient setting, is preferred.
  4. Skills: Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills are essential, as well as the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
  5. Empathy and Compassion: A high level of empathy and compassion is crucial to connect with clients and provide effective therapeutic support.
