**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mission Critical Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Milwaukee. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for:

  • Performing analysis, design, and documentation of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems and controls.
  • Conducting system assessments and preparing technical reports.
  • Reviewing submittals, RFIs, and contractor-proposed change orders, and conducting site observations.
  • Coordinating the work of mechanical designers and junior staff assigned to the project.
  • Assisting with construction site visits as required for observation, answering contractor questions, or representing the owner in preparing punch lists.
  • Creating and developing planning and design concepts for projects.
  • Preparing presentation drawings and assisting in presentations both internally and externally.
  • Mentoring and training junior staff.
  • Providing oversight of all aspects of mechanical design and the mechanical disciplines.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or equivalent.
  • 7 years of total experience with a minimum of 3-4 years of mission critical related technical design and consulting engineering experience designing HVAC for new and renovated healthcare, research lab, higher education, and/or mission critical/data center buildings.
  • PE License and LEED AP preferred.
  • Proficiency with Revit, Trane TRACE 700, Bluebeam, and the Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with three-dimensional CFD modeling and analysis of data center airflow and cooling performance.
  • Experience designing and optimizing common mission critical/data center cooling technologies, including air and liquid cooling.
