Job Summary

Adecco is currently recruiting for a Warehouse Associate in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Manage warehouse inventory and maintain accurate records to ensure smooth operations.
  • Logistics Coordination: Coordinate and schedule the movement of inventory throughout the warehouse, including storage and shipment.
  • Packing and Shipping: Accurately pack orders, check for quality, and ensure the right items are picked and shipped correctly.
  • Inventory Flow Management: Manage daily inventory flow by modifying storage space assignments and confirming availability of items to be shipped.
  • Warehouse Operations: Effectively utilize warehouse management systems, manually handle, repack, or restack pallets of material as needed, and operate forklifts.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Document all related activities and complete forms and reports.
Requirements
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Technical Skills: Comfortable utilizing computer systems, particularly Cargowise, Microsoft Office.
  • Warehouse Knowledge: Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures, including best safety practices.
  • Analytical Skills: Good analytical skills and ability to make sound judgments relative to inventory.
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required, at least two years of experience driving forklift required, and at least two years of work experience in a warehouse required.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting and Mobility: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times and move around the warehouse.
