Blending Operator I

The Blending Operator I is responsible for performing and reporting on operational related activities and utilizing technical skills to perform routine work using standard operating procedures related to food grade bacteria culture production. This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to ensure the safe and efficient operation of assigned areas.
Key Responsibilities
Perform blending and packaging operations
Load and unload freeze dryers
Weigh ingredients, bulks, and excipients
Clean rooms and equipment to ensure suitability for production
Assemble and disassemble mill equipment
Operate metal detectors
Perform master sanitation tasks
Maintain accurate documentation and records
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required
1-3 months of related experience or training preferred
Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) a plus
Work Environment
The work environment is on the production floor with moderate to loud noise levels. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this role.
