About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team in an outpatient setting. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and current medications.
  • Prepare patients for provider evaluations, including obtaining specimens, positioning for exams, and assisting during procedures.
  • Administer medications and injections as directed by the provider.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, including exam rooms and lab areas.
  • Document patient information in the electronic medical record.
  • Provide patient education and support, including lab results, medication instructions, and follow-up care.
  • Assist with referral authorizations and lab procedures.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of practical nursing or new graduate eligible to sit for the Virginia licensure exam.
  • One year of experience in a physician office preferred.
  • Current licensure as a Practical Nurse in the State of Virginia (LPN) required.
  • AHA BLS-HCP certification required.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
