Job Overview

As a Retail Operations Supervisor, you will play a vital role in assisting the Store Manager with the daily management of store activities. Your leadership will be essential in ensuring smooth operations and fostering a positive environment for both customers and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Collaborate closely with the Store Manager to oversee the daily functions of the store.
  2. Take charge of all operational duties in the absence of the Store Manager.
  3. Provide mentorship, training, and development opportunities for store personnel.
  4. Support the Store Manager in nurturing strong customer relationships and community engagement by setting a positive example.
  5. In the Store Manager's absence, address any personnel matters with the Administration.
  6. Handle necessary paperwork in accordance with Review Standards, particularly regarding Hour and Wage Compliance.
  7. Implement effective loss prevention strategies.
  8. Facilitate daily team meetings and shift changes when the Store Manager is unavailable.
  9. Complete assigned tasks as directed by the Store Manager.
  10. Ensure that any overtime worked is pre-approved by the appropriate supervisor or administrator.

Qualifications

Skills: Strong leadership and communication abilities, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to customer service.

Behaviors: Proactive, team-oriented, and adaptable to changing environments.

Motivations: Driven by a desire to support community initiatives and enhance the customer experience.

Education: Relevant educational background preferred.

Experience: Previous experience in retail management or supervisory roles is advantageous.

Licenses & Certifications: Relevant certifications may be required.
