About The Role:The Monetization team serves as the engineering backbone of our organization. We are responsible for driving revenue and ensuring our customers recognize the exceptional value of our premium offerings. Our efforts support Notion's international growth by broadening the payment options available to users worldwide.
As a key engineer on our team, you will collaborate with various departments to develop and sustain the infrastructure essential for managing payments, billing, international currencies, and self-service monetization.
What You'll Achieve:- Drive revenue growth: Lead initiatives aimed at enhancing paid conversion rates and facilitating our global expansion.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Build and maintain the necessary infrastructure to support global payment processing.
- Plan, shape, and build: Develop new features that lay the groundwork for innovative business opportunities at Notion.
- Focus on quality: Ensure that our customers' subscriptions and financial transactions are managed with utmost care and reliability.
- Proven track record of execution: You possess over 5 years of engineering experience, including significant involvement in creating top-tier product experiences alongside a team of engineers.
- Impact-orientation: You prioritize projects based on their potential business impact.
- Data and experimentation: You have a background in designing and analyzing experiments to evaluate monetization strategies.
- Putting users first: You critically assess the implications of your work on users.
- Empathetic communication: You articulate complex ideas clearly, whether discussing technical choices or brainstorming solutions.

- You are proficient in various components of our technology stack, including React, TypeScript, and Postgres.
