Job Title: Physical Therapy Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a Physical Therapy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our physical therapists in providing high-quality patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Support physical therapists with clinical tasks, including glucometry, EKGs, and vital signs.
  • Respond to patient and family needs, taking a proactive role in the efficient operation of the unit.

Requirements:

  • Certification as a CNA, PCT, MA, EMT, or commensurate experience required.
  • Previous experience as an ESA/PCA required.
  • Nursing student with completed fundamentals of nursing with a clinical component preferred.
  • Bilingual skills preferred.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology required.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the Red Cross required upon hire.
