Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team as a Travel Echo Technologist in McAllen, Texas. As a Medical Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining imaging equipment, preparing patients for exams, and producing high-quality images for diagnostic purposes.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, including ultrasound machines and other diagnostic devices
  • Prepare patients for exams, including explaining procedures and positioning patients for optimal image quality
  • Produce high-quality images for diagnostic purposes, ensuring accurate and detailed representations of patient anatomy
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care
  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient exams and imaging results

Requirements:

  • Associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field
  • Current ARDMS certification in Echo Cardiology
  • 2+ years of experience as a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist or Medical Imaging Technologist
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
