Job Title: General Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to lead our luxury resort, Viceroy Snowmass. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the overall operation of the hotel, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and driving business results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operational Leadership: Oversee daily operations across all departments, including Human Resources, Rooms, Engineering, Food and Beverage, Sales, Residential Services, and Finance.
  • Strategic Development: Formulate and implement hotel strategies that enhance guest and owner satisfaction, uphold service standards, boost colleague morale, and drive financial performance.
  • Guest and Owner Engagement: Ensure a seamless guest and owner experience by promoting efficient operational procedures and actively engaging with guests and owners from arrival to departure.
  • Service Excellence: Maintain high service standards for both internal and external guests, ensuring memorable experiences at every touchpoint.
  • Team Development: Supervise and support the Executive Committee, fostering individual performance and effective group dynamics through mentorship and coaching.
  • Problem Resolution: Address challenges promptly while promoting strong communication among colleagues to ensure consistency in guest service.
  • Positive Work Environment: Cultivate a supportive workplace by maintaining appropriate staffing levels, facilitating continuous training, and recognizing colleague achievements.
  • Financial Management: Analyze daily revenues, sales strategies, labor reports, guest satisfaction reviews, and monthly expenses to ensure alignment with business goals and profitability.
  • Budget Oversight: Manage the hotel budget to control expenses while identifying opportunities for revenue growth.
  • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong public relations with vendors and competitors within the hospitality industry.
  • Compliance Assurance: Ensure the property adheres to all legal, safety, operational, and brand standards set forth by East West Hospitality.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a General Manager, preferably in a luxury, lifestyle hotel environment.
  • Background in ski resorts or similar luxury operations is strongly preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen and familiarity with budget management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and nurturing a positive team culture.
