\rJob Description:
\We are seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at GSS ND Mandan Sunset. As an LPN, you will provide professional nursing care for residents of all ages in long-term care, under the supervision of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider, or physician. Your responsibilities will include:
\\[li] Demonstrating knowledge of nursing principles for the resident in the relevant clinical setting.\[li] Possessing the ability to perform testing to evaluate data reflective of the resident's status and to provide the care needed.\[li] Ensuring the health, comfort, and safety of residents.\[li] Contributes to the assessment of residents and administers medications or treatments as ordered.\[li] Provides technical support to healthcare professionals as needed.\[li] Documents resident interactions as needed and the outcomes related to resident care, medication, behavior, activity, and dietary.\[li] Skilled in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with resident, health care providers, and the public.\[li] Ability to work effectively with professional and supportive personnel as a member of an interdisciplinary care team.\[li] Ability to communicate clearly and maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.\[li] Counsels residents, family members and/or resident advocate, under the direction of a registered nurse, advanced practice provider or physician on prevention and treatment plans.\[li] Knowledge of resident education principles to develop a self-care program.\\\Requirements:
\To be successful in this role, you must have:
\\[li] A graduate degree from an accredited practical nursing program as a Licensed Practical Nurse.\[li] An associate degree in practical nursing is preferred.\[li] Currently holds an unencumbered Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license with State Nursing board and/or possess multi-state licensure privileges.\[li] Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications.\[li] Completes required annual continuing education units (CEU) and competency training requirements of the department and facility.\\\\Benefits:
