Project Management Role

We are seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead our project management team and report directly to the Director of Business Operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project coordination and completion, with expertise in setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress.

This key role involves overseeing project administration from beginning to end, including cost estimation, requirement analysis, communication with engineering and production teams, project development direction, and collaboration with vendors and suppliers.

The successful candidate will also work closely with our Syteline ERP System and other manufacturing software to ensure seamless project execution.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform duties and responsibilities in compliance with Hebeler's Process Map for Project Management

- Aid in project administration from beginning to end

- Complete/support completion of cost estimates for new opportunities and sales efforts

- Analyze customer project requirements and communicate to engineering and production

- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end

- Single point of accountability to oversee, direct and manage deliverables of projects to customer from end to end of project

- Collaborate with vendors/suppliers on pricing, productivity ideas and material substitutions

- Approve vendor/supplier deviations

- Work with Syteline ERP System or other manufacturing software to create/load part numbers and material routings, update job information and pricing as requirements change

Requirements

- Education and/or experience: A degree in a technical field, such as mechanical or electrical engineering, is preferred. Alternatively, 3 to 5 years of direct experience managing industrial projects is also acceptable

- Maintain a customer-focused perspective in all activities initiated to ensure that customer needs are successfully met

- Have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to work cooperatively with other project team members as well as customers

- Familiarity with CAD, NX, or Inventor design software, manufacturing methods, and procedures is beneficial

- Intermediate to advanced proficiency level in Microsoft Project or similar software is also desirable
