Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Shipping Coordinator to join our team at Prototek Digital Manufacturing. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and accurate shipping of our products to customers across the country.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pack and ship products securely to prevent damage during transit.
  • Verify quantities and documentation to ensure accuracy.
  • Utilize our ERP system to generate packing slips, create purchase orders, and invoice shipping activities.
  • Create accurate shipping labels and select appropriate shipping methods based on customer requirements.
  • Collaborate with QA and other departments to maintain the delivery schedule and minimize potential bottlenecks.
  • Perform final inspections of products during packing and communicate any quality concerns to production.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols and wearing proper PPE.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Knowledge of how to package manufactured parts for shipping.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to obtain medical certification.
  • Experience with UPS and FedEx shipping procedures and forms.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs., bend and twist.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Basic computer skills: Microsoft Office Suite.
