About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our medical practice in Douglasville, GA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to develop comprehensive treatment plans, and delivering innovative solutions to patients suffering from acute and chronic musculoskeletal issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform patient exams and evaluations, including medical history, physical exams, and review of pertinent medical records and imaging
  • Order and review tests and labs, including MRIs and NCVs
  • Diagnose and develop treatment plans, including trigger point and joint injections
  • Provide patient education on diagnosis, treatment options, rehabilitation exercises, and various modalities
  • Manage patient care, including prescribing physical therapy and chiropractic care as needed
  • Treatments - perform trigger point and joint injections
  • Prescribe medications as necessary for pain and treatment (no narcotics prescribed)
  • Document and maintain accurate and timely progress notes
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team for comprehensive patient care plans
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA-C) program
  • PA/NP license in GA
  • Orthopedic, Physical Med and Rehab, or Pain management background is required
  • Experience with joint injections and Musculoskeletal complaints/injuries required
