Medical Professional for Clinic Patient Care

SouthCoast Health seeks a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our Richmond Hill location on a full-time basis. This role involves providing professional nursing care to clinic patients under the direction and delegation of physicians.
We are looking for a qualified individual with a strong background in nursing and excellent communication skills to deliver high-quality patient care and promote health maintenance and management.
The successful candidate will have experience in assessing patient conditions, assisting with examinations and diagnostic procedures, and providing direct patient care as ordered by providers. Additionally, they will maintain confidentiality in matters related to the clinic, its patients, and employees.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately documenting all patient observations, treatments, and procedures administered
- Promoting wellness by providing patient education materials and communicating physician advice and instructions
- Coordinating patient care by triaging patient phone calls regarding appointment urgency and scheduling hospital admissions
- Scheduling lab work, specialist visits, and completing necessary paperwork for billing purposes
- Verifying and updating patient data and assisting patients with completion of paperwork as required
- Providing assistance with patient inquiries and concerns regarding medical care, medication instructions, and prescription call-ins
- Assisting with patient plans of care and documenting care coordination and interventions while integrating quality initiative measurements
- Administering immunizations and injections after reviewing immunization records and identifying potential allergic reactions
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited school of practical/vocational nursing program
- Minimum of one year clinical experience, preferably in a hospital or office practice setting
- Current Georgia LPN or Compact Nursing licensure
- Current BLS/CPR Certification
