Job Title: Travel Nurse RN Telemetry PCU

Epic Travel Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Nurse RN to join their team in Redlands, California.

Job Summary:

This is a 13-week travel nursing job opportunity for a RN with experience in Telemetry PCU. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing complex patient care, interpreting dysrhythmias, and working with Rapid Response Teams.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide high-quality patient care in a Telemetry PCU setting
  • Manage and interpret dysrhythmias, including telemetry monitoring
  • Work with Rapid Response Teams to ensure timely interventions
  • Assist with feeding tube care and management, pre/post hemodialysis management, and renal failure care
  • Perform central line care and management, peripheral line care and management, and PICC line management
  • Start IVs, manage heparin protocols, and titrate cardiac drips
  • Care for ventilated patients, manage chest tubes, and perform external CPAP/BIPAP
  • Interpret ABGs, manage nasal cannula, oxygen face masks, and non-invasive airway management
  • Manage tracheostomy care, isolation precautions, and wound care/wound vac
Requirements:
  • CA License
  • 2 Years Experience
  • MS/Tele; Telemetry; PCU/DOU/IMC/Stepdown; Management/Interpretation of dysrhythmias; Telemetry -on the unit monitoring; Use of Rapid Response Teams; Post MI; Feeding tube care and management; Pre/Post Hemodialysis Management; Renal failure; Accessing Ports; BPA; Central line care/management; Peripheral Line Care/Management; PICC line management; Starting IVs; Heparin Protocols; Manage Cardiac drips- no titration; Manage Vasoactive drips-no titration; CVA; Care of Ventilated Patient; Chest tubes-Emerson/Pleur-evac; External CPAP/BIPAP; High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC); Interpretation of ABGs; Nasal Cannula; Oxygen face masks; Non-invasive airway management; Tracheostomy Management; Isolation Precautions; Wound Care/Wound Vac
  • AHA BLS
  • ACLS
  • NIH
  • Meditech Experience preferred
  • Post Cardiac Angiogram; IV insulin protocols; Titration of Insulin drips; Titrate Cardiac drips; Pre/Post neurosurgery preferred

Please note that all pay rates are estimates. Weekly gross pay is based on qualifications and experience. Rate applies to travel positions only (50+ miles from permanent address).
