As a critical care specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care in our Cardiothoracic Critical Care Unit. Your expertise in cardiovascular medicine and critical care will be invaluable in helping us deliver high-quality patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Provide critical care services to adult cardiac surgical patients, including perioperative care and management of complex cardiovascular conditions.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient safety and outcomes.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in cardiovascular medicine and critical care through ongoing education and professional development.
- Board certification in Cardiothoracic Critical Care or a related field.
- Experience in critical care medicine, with a focus on cardiovascular care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Ability to work variable shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Experience in ECMO, VAD, and heart and lung transplant patient management.
- Board certification in TTE and/or TEE.
- Experience in a similar role, with a focus on cardiovascular critical care.
